There is a nice walk to the ridge from here and then on to the Goats Path there are two Car Parks and the best views of the Sheep’s Head Peninsula, this is 220 metres above sea level. Take an  easy walk here on the Horse Shoe Road which is also part of the Sheep’s Head Walk. If you continue on to another section of the Sheep’s Head Peninsula there is a parking area near Laharndoda Lake or Tooreen you can see the Lighthouse and the remains of the Napoleonoc Signal tower on the ridge.
